Aktor AS Chris Pratt: Di Bawah Tuhan Kita Tidak Terpisahkan

WASHINGTON, SATUHARAPAN.COM - Aktor Amerika Serikat (AS), Chris Pratt membuat puisi tentang keadaan masyarakat Amerika Serikat yang terpecah belah secara sosial politik dan ia menyerukan persatuan.

Dalam puisinya, dia melihat kekacauan dan kemarahan bahwa warga di AS sebagai orang yang terjebak dalam politik ekstrim dan media memperburuk keadaannya.

Aktor "Jurassic World" itu menulis puisinya di Instagram, "DING-DONGS / Ding ke kiri. Dong ke kanan. Gema meningkat/ Ding dong! Ding dong! Mereka membunyikan bel kemarahan.”

Pratt menyamakan media seperti memainkan mereka seperti biola dan menenggelamkan akal sehat.

Get your blood a pumpin’ with some whisper fueled assumption, About someone who wore somethin’ or some singled out opinion among tweeters by the billions “But this one was so outrageous And egregious and alarming!” And you’re angry for the anger in your heart that had been forming Is on the verge of boiling over And you try but are unable Like Chernobyl in your heart the chain reaction is unstable And the blood pressure is higher than the moment just before... And the next commercial thankfully Is a high blood pressure cure. There’s a rhythm to this madness If you take a sec to look One option is unplug Put down your phone pick up a book But the other option probably is more helpful and realistic Find the humor, check the facts, and try to remain optimistic. Ask yourself the question: who profits from my rage? And prevent them from lining up their pockets with that booty. We’re His children despite race, creed, preference or age. Pratt merupakan seorang penganut Kristen yang secara terang-terangan membagikan imannya kepada orang lain.

Aktor "Guardians of the Galaxy" itu belum lama menerima Generation Award di MTV Movie and TV Awards. Dalam kesempatan tersebut ia berbagi sembilan poin saran, yang sarat dengan ajaran Kristen.

Lebih dari 390.000 orang menyukai postingan Pratt di Instagram. Rekan main Pratt di "Avengers: Infinity War", Josh Brolin bahkan mengatakan kepada aktor itu bahwa puisi itu "luar biasa."

Sedangkan yang lainnya memohon kepada Pratt untuk tidak ikut campur dalam urusan politik.

Sebelumnya pada 4 Juli 2019, bersamaan dengan foto Deklarasi Kemerdekaan AS, Pratt menuliskan di Instagram dengan beberapa pemikirannya tentang Amerika.

"Saya pribadi percaya bahwa penting untuk merenungkan gagasan Amerika. Setiap institusi yang dibuat oleh manusia pasti tidak sempurna. Tapi itu adalah tanggung jawab kita untuk berusaha meningkatkannya, untuk membentuk 'persatuan yang lebih sempurna,” tulisnya.
